Hello

I believe God has a sense of humor. There have been many times in my life that I just looked up and laughed, knowing what happened was God's doing.  Laughter is a wonderful way to feel God's love for us.  The life here on earth is far from perfect, however, what I have learned is there is no other place I would rather be than in God's will.  He has called after me and even chased me down.  Even though I knew he was real, I had to do things my way.  Life has been bumpy to say the least.  God has been with me, over and through every single bump, whether it was my doing or not.  In this life God tells us that we will have struggles, it is not a matter of if, but when we will have struggles.  God also tells us not to worry because He has overcome the world.  God is shaping me and molding me into the woman he created me to be.  Each step along the way I get to choose God's way or my way.  I have learned in this life each and every time I want to choose God's way.  This has taught me to slow down and to be patient, especially in the waiting.  We live in a world where pretty much anything is at our fingertips, simply a click away.  There are so many demands and opportunities knocking at the door.  Each knock is another chance to choose God over my worldly desires.  I strive to choose God each and every time, even in the unknown, but I am not perfect, no one is.

God has walked and carried me through many storms and trials in life.  He walked with me hand in hand through divorce and carried me through unknown health issues (and He still is).  God took away fears and anxiety that had left me hiding from life.  He turned ugly messes of life upside down and created beauty.  God provided me with a second chance (although I am sure the number is way more than a second chance).  I am married to my best friend and together we strive to live a life in full surrender and obedience to God, however, we are not perfect.  

 

The old me would rather be a fly on the wall, blending in and hiding.  The new me – the one that God is still refining - has a passion and a desire to see other women rise up to where and what God is calling them to and created them for.  In life we need help - we need each other.  God has called us to do this life together.  I am here waiting to connect.
